we started getting rain on the the far west side at approximately 3:00 am thunder and lightning as i am writing at 6:00 am. 


i know other parts of San Carlos and Guaymas have received some rain, Guaymas almost looking subtropical, but this is our first!

The only personal weather station on the Caracol Pen that recorded rain today showed less than 1/4”.  But we needed every drop.


The electrical brownout that lasted until 10:30 am we didn’t need so much…

yes San Carlos has unique spotted showers. we had a nice soaking drizzle for about 6 hours and i saw in San Carlos lots of standing water.

more rain last night around 2:30/3:00 am, at least we are starting to get some rain come our way.
