Will be in Hmo tomorrow - any chance there? I've tried Toyo - no.

It may be rice wine to you, but it's "Sake to Me"!

I am late seeing this but, for anything exotic in alcohol, the La Cubiella at the corner of Luis Encinas and Reforma is usually the best bet.

Yup, went there - pretty amazing selection for Sonora. They only had a nigori sake - creamy, cloudy, sweeter.

Just remembered that someone brought a bottle of sake to our house in Mexico about two months ago. It was sushi night. They got it at Walmart in GYM. It was a junmai, as I recall. Might have been Sho Chiku Bai or Gekkeiken.

Look for it over on the shelves near the single bottles of imported beer, maybe. Might still be carrying it.
