Can anyone help me find out what the border crossing numbers for the online FMM form are?

Uno, dos, tres, but which is which? I want to use the very first immigration stop as I cross the border at Mariposa and avoid the whole Km 21 deal. Thanks.

Well, hell. I got mine just fine with a receipt, but my wife's came without a receipt. I emailed the address given and asked if I needed one. What I got back was a duplicate FMM form all filled out. In the original email notification, it read: "Once we have confirmed your payment, you can download your Forma Migratoria Multiple it here." I would read that as, you don't get an FMM unless we've been paid. I sent another inquiry and asked specifically, in my broken Spanish: "¿Es este todo que necesario para entrar Estados Unidos de Mexico? ¿No necesita un recibió?

Gracias por su ayuda.

Man, oh man, ain't nuthin' easy!

Is anyone having problems crossing the border from US to San Carlos? We plan on crossing Dec.1st at Mariposa Truck Crossing. We are staying for 2 months.

You don't need to turn in the 180 day FMM. I have tried and they don't want them. You do have to turn in the 7-day version.

Freshly across as of Monday, October 26th and we used the First entry (immigration office) at Mariposa. With only one receipt from our online FMM, we went to the recommended first immigration office to get stamped. We went through the Red light Green light Aduana part and parked on the road behind the office. I would park in front of the office next time.

The officer was very friendly and not very busy at all with only one Gringo fellow in front of us to take care of. Once it was our turn he was slightly nonplussed that we didn't have the second receipt and insisted that he needed it for his records. I did see him staple my receipt to his part of my FMM so am thinking that this was legit. After only a slight admonishment and a warning to please bring the receipt the next time we were stamped and sent on our way. I doubt that at KM 21 this would be the case and for me, I'll never stop at that mess again if I don't have to.

The construction was still going on through Nogales, but was at a minimum. The route is straight forward and once you've come out on Hwy 15, you are almost to KM 21 again. The bypass for Hermosillo had changed and I almost missed the left lane exit for it, but now that I know it's there, I'm confident that should be easier for the next trip.

Thanks all for your input and help. This was some great advise and I hope others find this route as easy as we did. It's good to be back!
