I've been below 130 feet at least 10 times now, the deepest dive being 165 feet. My buddy was my now husband, who is a Master Scuba Diver Trainer. He kept a close eye on me and I never narced. As an underwater photographer, I found a lot of interesting subjects and have the photos as evidence. But, it was not in San Carlos.

Sad but true observation on liability suits and personal responsibility.

I knew we were in trouble years ago when I read about a guy who died diving a wreck off New Jersey.  His family sued the dive operator, presumably at the urging of some ambulance chaser, on the grounds that his estate (heirs) was not given the opportunity to waive liability for his safety even though he had.

But now my mother is dead, so who's gonna sign my permission slip? :(
