Been shopping Talavera tile Mexicano in the Phoenix area and found it to be incredibly expensive. Figured the we could visit family in San Carlos AND come home with a load of tile in the truck at the same time. Is someone aware of a tile supplier in Hermosillo or Guaymas? Gracias! ElCazador |

There is a Talavera Store in San Carlos, that sells many things from figurines, to sinks and tile...good place. Not inexpensive but will beat Stateside prices any day. Easy to find across the street from Tortugas Restaurant and next to the OXXO, going west toward the marina....veering to your left. Last edited on Thu Oct 22nd, 2020 08:17 pm by johnmoore |

The Talavera store here in SC does not have much - tourist trinkets and high tourist prices. When we build here in 2008 I ordered tiles, sinks, murals, even custom sized tiles etc from a factory in Delores Hildago. That area is the mfg center for all this stuff. Excellent quality and price - and shipping from there to here was not much. Contact Rene Olguin at Mexhapati, https://www.mexhapati.com/index.php Mex phone 4181822098 Speaks excellent English, lived in Chicago for years. We did the same thing in 2012 when we re-did our Tucson condo. No problem importing tile etc to the US. |

The talavera store in San Carlos will beat anything you can find in HMO. They have boxes and boxes of tile as well as all the decorative items. |

We got all our Talavera from Rene. LOTS of it! In fact, I’m pretty sure we were the reason he started advertising here in SC. Hard fired for surfaces. But if you get a lot of it, you’ll need a pretty hefty vehicle. Tile is heavy. If you’re just getting it for accents, the Talavera store here would work. |
