Does anyone have charters that they would recommend or also, anyone that you would steer clear of?  I appreciate any help,  never fished San Carlos before.  Is it best to book ahead of time, or can trips be made the afternoon before at the marina?

Also, during a late Nov/early Dec trip would you recommend a full day, or can we fill the cooler with a half day probably?

Thanks for the help!

Fernando PQ Almada, go to Catch22SportfishingMexico on FB to check him out. THE fishing outfitter in San Carlos. Native and long time captain owner operator and very competitive half or whole day trips. He has all tackle and can tell you what you need to know about length of trip. Certainly recommend all day. Ron

It's a buyer beware to ask for a day trip at either marina in my opinion. You will find many of the world's best at the cheapest rate with the mostest fish in the shortest time? I would recommend one other, Abel Anaya of Pancho Pancho Too (Two), sorry. I think Brian with Margarita Sportfishing has dry docked his boats but he is very good as well. Just to say that there are others but be very wary as things are slow and everyone will tell you they're the best for the least. Go with safety with one of the proven and take your cooler and have a freezer on standby, LOL. Enjoy, Ron

I echo Wy-Not completely. Fernando(Catch 22) or Abel. Pancho Pancho II) Both are excellent and speak English.
