Did anyone encounter TODAY the detours set up by police going into Guaymas?

Just wondering if the Roadblocks/detours have ceased as of today, along with the opening of some businesses.

Thanks...

I went the aquario route to avoid them, and saw that they were set up at that turnoff and in front of Walmart.

There was a Facebook story this afternoon saying they were going to cut back on road blocks to about 5 locations in Guymas on the main streets. all the overtime must be draining their budget. But the messages on Spanish radio to isolate at home were still being repeated at frequent intervals today.

And Soggy Peso is also announcing they are opening on the 22nd.

Finally they announced this afternoon that the hospitals are now at full capacity in Mexico City just after just filling the old car racetrack with more beds.

God save these poor souls

Your article contradicts what the FB article said about 5 places.

Now only 2 roadblocks where the police and fire department will check temperatures, and confirm that buses carry 25 passengers or less.

Thank you.
I was unable to tell from the article what the locations are of the roadblocks that will remain.  Can someone whose Spanish is better than mine help with those locations?

"que sólo quedarán dos filtros de control, el que se encuentra en el sector Guaymas Norte y el de la avenida Serdán, entre calles 16 y 17, a fin de estar revisando unidades."

The 2 remaining ones will be downtown on Serdan between 16 and 17th Streets, and in North Guaymas with no address given- so I will guess it will be in front of Walrmart south bound side or father north, in front of the Police/Fire stations.

The Dolfinario route was clear for me, and it appears they are not checking cross traffic between Empalme and Guaymas, but that could be just an omission.

I was in Guaymas yesterday mid afternoon. There was police and orange cones in the Guaymas Norte intersection -exiting Guaymas Norte-, across from Police Station. It didn’t seem to me they were doing much checking. There was nothing in front of Walmart or at intersection where Ley El Vigia is, like it used to be. Banamex still doing the “5 persons at a time” to go inside. No checkpoint in SC as of yesterday.

Has anyone tried to get to the fish market in Empalme? If so, back road or thru Guaymas?
