78-80 out there. Yellowtail still around. Some bonita and sierra. They caught Dorado 40-50 out last week. Good swell the last couple days,  so hopefully some big patches broke off the islands and is headed our way.

I believe I saw a FaceBook shot of a Dorado a few days ago that was recent. Big local yacht with a nice size bull. A week ago on the way back from San Pedro I had 1 flying fish scoot out from in front of the panga. Water is hovering between 77.5 and 80.

I saw one of Kip with one, but I believe they were close to Puerto Escondido, south of here on the Baja side. Could that be the one you saw too?

Felt warm humidity early this morning for the first time, so they are probably around.

Well I tried to post a video but it didn't work..
I was at the Island a week ago last Thursday. Was able to troll up a 20lbs Yellowtail but couldn't get another to bite. That's when I saw the Flying fish on the return trip. Water temps had just jumped to the upper 70's. The following Sunday I was able to get out in the afternoon and land 10+ Yellowtail Jigging off San Antonio. Mostly 10lbers but 1 was around 16. Last Friday I ran off San Antonio and followed a rip line with grass paddies for an hour or so but could find any Dorado. Ran inside and jigged up 3 smaller Yellowtail. Funny I have a view and have been seeing Dolphin daily til about a week and a half ago?? Since then nothing?

Cortezano was out yesterday, without me, and caught a few dorado including a mid 20's bull. They were fishing the reef.

So we can go outside and go fishing?? Many boats, mostly ski type boats and waverunners/jet skis going out but they are mostly inside Algodones from Marina Real to Isla Venado. Panga from La Manga diving successfully for chocolates. Several large shrimper size/sardinero boats daily going or coming from North. Yet we as a married couple can't go into isolation on our boat to fish away from everyone??? When??? Ynot

I would check to see if the gas dock is open, but I think you can, especially if the hull is in its slip already. As long as you don't have a larger group. Friend went the other day and took a helper.

Thanks, yes, hull has been in the water and we watch more than several go out daily. Mostly ski type and jet skis although have seen a very few fishermen go out. We have not been to Guaymas for about 6 weeks and only shop necessities here, mostly water, Santa Rosa and Santo Valle due to limiting number of folks entering. So far, I think San Carlos has set a good example. Hopefully we can keep it that way. Thanks Bryan and Ken.

Technically you still can't leave the house I believe, unless they believe that going to a restaurant is essential, .. and the cops may try to raid the midnight corvina party .. but these guys have knives and fish to mordida.

I know the ramp at Marina Real is very busy, boats to 25-30 feet in and out, many wave runners/seadoos. Stop at office and prepay and you're good. The office will also tell you that you're on your own to go out or not, they have no responsibility. Ron
