Another good morning on the water. Lots of small to medium sized fish in only 85'-100' of water. Released over a dozen in less than two hours. Most fish were 4-5# but there were a few pushing 15#. All on the bottom with a few bonito and Sierra mixed in. Great start to the jigging season.

Me too this evening. 2 limits in 90 minutes, even after releasing a few 5-6 pounders.

The majority of fish are larger on the surface 1-1.5 miles off the Tetas to San Antonio. The 40's weed out some of the smaller ones. AOne of the best bites ever. A friend caught a lot of Sierra among numerous small yellowtail around the Piedras Pintas rock. The bonita have popped up closer to Cuatro Chichis to the more inside rocky areas off San Antonio. Very full bellies at the moment for a late morning bite, but they will go on the feed this weekend. Haven't heard of an offshore report. Skipjack and toros were coming to the beach along Manglares. Tons of cow tuna caught down in Cabo for the WON Tournament.

Only 2 this evening after wrestling with a seal, but good size. Couple more small sierra and the skipjack were hard to avoid.

Arriving fish schools should be following bait north this time of the year, so the school at San Antonio yesterday are probably noth of La manga today, next day at Ensenada Grande, then Pando, etc.

Island has been great, much better grade of fish. Found them boiling off SA point on the way back the last 2 days, mostly fish under 10# with a few pushing 15# in the mix
