Just the amparo is a good idea for now.

Since the Reistro Publico issued conflicting escrituras, and since your paperwork now predates the ones these buyers created, you case for a permanent stay and reversal on the sale is stronger.

In my experience, attorney fees are very difficult to recover, and I've tried. If they were tricked, they can go against the sellers and maybe their Notario's bond, but in Mexico 3rd party claims are difficult at best.Puts you and your new "neighbor" at each others throats over some other guys BS.

So like you said, sorry I have to stop you to protect my investment, but getting your dough back from the sellers is your problema.

"Urbano" does not do inspections, it is the obligation of the "DRO" !
a DRO is a engineer registered with the municipality of Guaymas, dept. URBANO.
a DRO is responsible for all the construction work done, a DRO can also be the acting contractor!

Amazing how much what's really going on in SC never makes it to other local informational boards. Appreciative to have an honest straight forward perception of what's really going on.;)

I haven't done anything on this in english yet. Basically it is a land grab, the area that had the Snow Bird Plaza sign was a designated green zone that may have been sold by a Caballero to a private citizen. Then the private citizen basically bribed control urbano to get a construction permit that should not have been authorized and there you have it....

Not that anyone is blind but it certainly appears that foundation with tied rebar and columns are nearing cement stage. For folks that are not here to see.
