|Summer is over and I hope it has been a fun and delightful time. Now it's time for us to get back to the crucial agendas that drive and support Rescate Auxiliary.
n October 4th at 9:00 am at the San Carlos Yacht Club, I will pick up my gavel for the first time to kick off a terrific new season for the Rescate Auxiliary. This is an open invitation to all members and non-members to join us and contribute to making this year an outstanding and productive year.
The purpose of this meeting is to plan and implement committees and their teams for the Christmas Bazaar and several new activities, such as a monthly pancake breakfast and possibly a spaghetti dinner. Pamela Barnard will also be reporting on the Welcome Back Margarita Party, which is always an exciting way to start the season.
We are always looking for new ideas to produce more revenue to support our first responders, the ambulances and the first aid station. Community input is essential to our success, so please consider joining us at the Yacht Club on Friday, October 4 to explore volunteering opportunities.
Free parking is available at Hammerheads Dockside Restaurant. They are open at 10:00 for breakfast and Barracuda Bobs is open at 6 am for coffee and breakfast as well. Both restaurants are huge supporters of Rescate, so let’s support them too!
I look forward to seeing you at our meeting.
Beverly Smith, President, Rescate Auxiliary
