Tell us how well they work for you. I have talked to some and read from others on the internet that a Telcel phone has trouble making and receiving calls to/from US phones while the Telcel phone is in the US.

For a non-contract phone, it COULD be a much cheaper option that virtually all the US phone companies, for use in both countries.

Of course, the devil can be in the fine print details, if you spend lots of time in both countries.

Why are you using a third party app for incoming calls, oppie?

Mind if I ask what you are paying per month? Contract? How long are you in Idaho each year?

We use Magic jack at home I think 30 a year . You can put there app for home phone number on one cel, then for 10 more a year you can add a new number for other cel phone, that's how we can call back and forth in the states. We pay about 200 peso per mo. for telcel with enternet. I paid for that online so we have it year round.
Hope that helps.

Yes, it helps.

Just wondering why you dont just use the phone answering capabilities of the Telcel sim card instead of the Magic Jack app?

Is it because it is a long distance call for people in the US, calling you in the US?

I have Telcel pay 200 a month. It works great have used it as far east as Niagara falls way up in Canada never have a problem making or getting calls. The trouble is people calling you for them it is an international call. But there are ways around it IPlum or Hushed looks good also.
