Hi San Carlos,We all know there are not enough good homes for all the puppies and kittens so,we're planning one large Spay/Neuter clinic a month throughout the summer with several of them in our San Carlos clinic.  With many of our volunteers going north we work very hard to keep going all summer.  Our clinic team is made up of mainly local Mexican folks along with the core US team of about six volunteers.  They are the hardest working group of people fueled by their love of the animals and their belief in controlling unwanted litters of puppies and kittens.  Everyone of them deserves an award. We need everyone to come to the SBPA's Ole Mexico dinner at Club Deportivo on April 2nd to help us keep going all summer.

Right this minute we have a clinic in Guaymas Norte wrapping up and will have done close to 100 surgeries.  Most of the patients were female cats which is awesome because you know how those kitties reproduce. We understand many folks will be leaving but many will still be here and this dinner marks the end of the SBPA winter event season in San Carlos.Other than the Melodrama there might not be many community events and chances to visit with friends and neighbors before everyone goes inside and turns on their air conditioning.  Please take advantage of this fun time. This wonderful meal includes dessert and Mexican coffee and at 250 pesos ($12.50 US) it is a great value.  Apart from the good price and the excellent food prepared by the Culinary Institute group you will be helping pay for the SBPA Summer Clinics. So you will find tickets at CIBanco this week between 9 & noon, and also at the Altered Tails Book Shoppe so we hope you will buy some and come to a fun dinner while supporting the work of the SBPA.
