It was not finished as of 2 weeks ago and it will be some time yet.  They are only just starting on the necessary overpass near the Hermosillo toll booth.  The road surfacing at the overpass south of Hermo doesn't look finished either.  I have no idea about the rest of it that can't be seen from the highway.

I just drove it last week. Beautiful! Toll is 113 MP and it's about 40 miles AND NO SERVICES. It's so clean that there are no signs or advertising at all, just the Vacas and cactus. The hardest part is making the transition to get on, it's tricky..... but well marked.
