I'd have to say this restaurant has become our favorite in San Carlos for something akin to a fine-dining, night out. Yes, even pizza can be fine dining, when it's that good.

But my wife and I, and several others we have spoken to, agree that the music is often much too loud to sit outside. Even with as nice as the weather has been outside, we have been forced into the interior by the sound levels.

There is a difference between dining and enjoying conversation at a table of friends and attending a concert. It has begun to limit when we go there because they have music nearly every night now. Even the two acoustic guys are too loud, for my tastes.

On the chance that my friends and I have too sensitive of hearing, what are others thinking? If I seem to get a consensus one way or the other, I will bring it up to Alex...........or not, if the consensus is the other way.

I realize that many Mexicans have no problem with loud music while eating, but the clientele seems to be about 75% (at least) gringo. Are a lot of us just putting up with the sound levels because we enjoy the food so much>

That's the case everywhere. Say something! They will listen. Other places turn it up when you speak up sometimes.

Yes, agree the music is too loud.  When you are dining you want background level so you can converse with your friends.
