~15 years ago I towed my 32 foot boat up from SC to Los Angeles.  Right before the border all hell broke out with a thunderstorm.  Temps dropped from 102 to 62 in 15 mins.

Water was flooding off the hills onto the road like crazy.  Put it in 4x4 and was saying a little prayer to god that we didn't get washed over the side of the road into the valley.

All of a sudden I looked out the passenger window and there was a donkey standing in the pouring rain and lightning on the side of the road.

Looks like the moisture from Rosa is moving very fast. It is raining in Lakeside right now. I go to Phoenix today and Green Valley tomorrow. Wish I could reschedule. By the looks of radar, it might pass though Arizona by tomorrow.

The graphic from eebmike shows a rough timeline, but the link didn’t work after I posted it.
I’m sure you’ve seen it.

Good luck and be safe...

If anyone is familiar with Mex Hwy 5, the highway they have been paving for the last five+ years from Puertecito to Chapala (and Hwy 1), two of the new bridges have apparently been washed out. Arroyos flowing non-stop. Lots of flooding in the town of San Felipe.

LTR - just the normal road ponds after a rain.
Don’t know about Guaymas, that’s always different there.

Nothing happen in San Carlos and Guaymas. Just a very short but strong rain. Maybe 15-30 min. the most
