I stopped by our work-in-progress Mazateño restaurant today and they say it will be another 2 months before it is ready. 
It isn’t very apparent from the street, but they have really added on to the building, extending it back quite a bit.


I am really looking forward to their opening.

Is it related to the well run, finely oiled, machine in Miramar? If it is, it will do very well in San Carlos.

Yes, I have lunch at the one in Miramar about once a week.  That’s why I am excited about the new one here in SC.
Though I will miss my guys in Miramar, so will probably have to eat both places! YUM!

It appears they are getting closer to being finished, but they sure missed their estimated open date of July 2018!!  Maybe they will make it by July this year, though it looks like it may be sooner.
