I'm not down there at the moment. How does that price compare with the San Carlos stations?

Frankie, I havent memorized the names of plazas in San Carlos. Are you saying that Memo's station is being converted to an Arco? In other words, the station in front of Seaside and Remax realtys?

gasoline is heavily taxed, and its the same case when comparing $3 gas in Az to $4 gas in California and Mx. Arco like Pemex produces, refines and sells retail with no franchise owners. So why would they start a price war if it cuts their profit?

arco & chevron are most likely purchasing their gasoline from pemex. pemex refines some of it's oil, for gas distribution to the northern mexican states in the USA. this is a pic of a chevron station in los mochis! The may buy from Pemex in Hermosillo, but Pemex buys most of its imported gas now from a BP and US refineries in Texas. This is not a supply issue as gas is cheaper in AZ than CA, where it is refined. Ships do and can transfer gas, oil and other liquids very cheaply. This is Psimply emex and BP colluding to fix prices to the maximum allowable under Mexican Law.

Bullshipper wrote: The may buy from Pemex in Hermosillo, but Pemex buys most of its imported gas now from a BP and US refineries in Texas.there is no disagreement, the map clearly shows an oil pipe line to TEXAS, it also shows a gas line back to mexico!! i would assume there is also a reciprocal agreement in the purchase of the gasoline refined in the USA for mexican oil, BP oil, USA oil! BP has oil leases from the USA and mexico in the gulf of mexico! it is my understanding BP is in negotiation to build a refinery in mexico! P.S. mexico is the largest importer of USA gas, according to a 12/30/16 statistic about 45.8% of the 177.4 million barrels produced for export from the USA!
