Today is the day, it is the longest day of the year and the shortest night, tomorrow the sun will start it's journey South, today north of the Arctic Circle you have 21 hours of daylight and 3 hours of night but it is not really night, it is 3 hours of twilight type of light that's why it's called, "the land of the midnight sun", now go to the South Pole, if you are there today you have 21 hours of darkness, 3 hours of light, but the light is similar to that of just after the sun has set, if you are feeling sun deprived, best to put on your bathing suit and go outside for 3 hours, oh no it's winter and it's 20 below zero.  Happy Summer Solstice
