Always interesting to see which way the peso goes, at election time.

Appears to be slightly weaker against the dollar, since the other candidates conceded defeat. Nothing radical, though. About a half a peso per dollar.

as the news is coming in, it appears that the MORENO party has dominated the elections country wide!
i am reading and hearing a lot of fear mongering propaganda! MEXICO is a democracy, the people don't want to be maintained, they want to work hard for decent wages, a cease in the violence!

a listen learned: people are tired of the same ole same ole!

Did you see this? Apparently, through a coalition of parties aligned with AMLO, he will have a majority in both of their elected houses. He may be able to implement some of these ideas he has been talking about.

Sara Valles is affiliated with AMLO's coalition, according to an article in Opinion Sonora.

John Moore is right on. Since Trump the economy is ginning along better than I can remember in decades. We don't need any more immigrants who can mix concrete in a 5 gallon bucket. We need doctors and scientists. A good cigar maker would be nice too.

checkrs, OMG!!! try using spell check, so it at least looks like you have some sort of intelligence!!! ! also try staying with the subject of the thread!

maybe some real ECONOMISTS from china, india, pakistan, the economy may be doing well now, will see after the few months when the new TARIFFS kick in!!!

FYI, we now have over 21.5 trillion dollar debt!!

so it really doesn't matter how well the PRIVATE sector is doing, if the governmental debt is not addressed!
