Hi all, I'm planning a trip down late June/early July.  First trip since 2001 and the old Club Med.  Bringing husband with who has never been there but has heard me rave about the beach for years now.

I don't want to bug you guys with questions about rental info because I've spent the last 3 days looking around online.  Originally wanted a small beachfront house for in Marina Real, Costa del Mar or Villas California, but all the houses seem to be huge and hold 20 people.
So I'm thinking it might have to be Playa Blanca because I really want to be on Algodones beach.

I'm thinking Soggy Peso is walking distance from Playa Blanca correct?  If we want to drive out towards the old Club Med on the beach are there Razors to rent?  Have they torn the buildings down yet?  In its day it was really a beautiful place - such a shame.

Want to go snorkeling and was looking at staying in a house on Playa Caracol to be able to snorkel right off the beach.  Any thoughts on that?  Any snorkeling trips/companies you can recommend?

Thanks in advance for all your help - very much appreciated.

Playa Blanca - easy walk to Soggy Pesos along the beach

Also - same management as the Peso - Sunset Restaurant - well worth an evening - next door to the Peso - excellent food.

You can walk round towards old club Med its not far

If you have car - Bonafacios is in the old RV park over locking Marina Real - worth a visit drinks at sun down - about 7 minutes from playa Blanca

Of course if you have a car anywhere is within reach , if not you can still have a wonderful time between Playa Blanca , Soggy and Sunset !

Welcome back !

:)

Check with first choice property management for smaller places at Costa del Mar .  Click the home button on the main menu here then see beach houses. Tell them we sent you

No razors on the beach. Playa Blanca, great place to rent, and they have pool, restaurant, etc. Makes it a fun vacation.
