At a bare minimum, all outlets within 6 ft of a faucet must have GFCI recepticals.

I had the same problem. After 2 electricians couldn’t find it the 3rd did. He said that the bottom seal of inside my garbage disposal failed and water was getting into the internal electrical connections. When he disconnected the disposal the problem went away. I brought a new one down from the States and haven’t had that problem again. Seemed weird to me, but worked. I don’t remember his name.
