Tons of fish, but you better throw tiny jigs and get lucky. Lost two. Pangas couldn't even get them with small live bait. Clear water.

Pando is pretty bare. Found bait offshore, but no pelagics.

72 and clear but still didn't see a marlin. There's been a pod of 1000+ dolphin out front the last few days. The first day they had acres of mackerel balled up. Never get tired of seeing the babies with their mommies. Loads of mackerel around the Island. Only fish was first pass. They were thick. Bait was about 1-1.5", burgundy color ( red to purple, I've seen some copper colored). Pangas never caught one. I'm going to look for a spear. Passed a recently dead Cuvier's Beaked Whale. Bottom has been good when the current isn't ripping.

Any yellowtail still around? Don't want to have to break out the short "jigging" rods and look for pelagics.

Probably a jig and live bait bite at the Island, but I haven't heard a report.
