Hello!

My husband and I are planning to relocate to San Carlos in the hopefully not-too-distant future. We are in the process of selling everything at the moment.

We will be living in our 5th wheel for as long as necessary so that we can get a feel for what area of San Carlos we would like to buy in.

We are interested in a lot of outdoor activities like kiteboarding, paddle boarding, kayaking, mountain biking, etc. Aside from the mountain bikes, is there a lot of that stuff for sale there as people come and go or should we plan on purchasing most of it before we head down? We will have some kiteboarding equipment but none of the other "water" stuff. I've looked a bit on the classified part of the site and see a couple of kayaks but that's about it. I'm sure it all depends on timing.

Thank you!

Susan

Whilst items do come up for sale it is not often or predictable .

Recommend buying kayaks and paddle boards in USA - there is no import charge to bring them in and you can get what you really want - second hand market is very small usually.

Great idea to stay before you buy - you learn a lot "living" here which is less noticeable when you are just new in town ! ( I know from personal experience ! ).

Good luck.

:)
