They are there if you are willing to put in the time and work those jigs. Last 3 trips have produced quality fish for us at the Island

What type of grouper is that spotted one?


The only ones I have ever caught out of SC have been the red grouper and the baqueta (the first one in the group of photos).


The spotted one has a serrated tail but it doesnt look like any broomtails that I have caught. Those never had spots; more like splotches.
