Appears that 21 dorado were caught. That is a respectable number.

Is that weighed? What was the minimum weight for weighing? Was there any dorado over 25 lbs?

I think that was weighed dorado but I'm not sure. I heard there was dorado everywhere and you would catch little peanuts and just throw them back

There were lots of peanuts released. Only males 12 pounds and over were to be weighed. I heard, but don't know for sure, the largest dorado as 17 lbs.

Yes, as Ian said, 17.6 won the fun fish, and it was a beautiful bull.

If I had to guess we had a dozen that weighed and 3 that hit the 12 lb mark, which isn't that far off from when I was running the scales 6 years ago at the Cantina Cup with a 15 lb minimum.

The majority of the ones that didn't weigh were in the 10 lb plus range, so it was nice to see that we didn't have anglers showing up with 5 lb fish at the scale.

Sunday was exciting and certainly made up for the closed ports on Saturday.  Looking forward to next year already.

BTW, in case it wasn't mentioned enough, HUGE thanks to the radio master Dakota Dave for all of his relay work on Sunday from the fleet to tournament control and back.  It was much appreciated.

We found a dozen on Tuesday with several weighing up to 17#. Maybe the billfish pushed even farther west, but there is some clear water creeping up in close off Haystack.
