Can anyone provide hints or tips on shore fishing around the bahia? My teens want to catch dinner in area around the Caracol. Any help or tips would be helpful.

I would head down to the cove where a few sailboats are moored. There are 8-12" pinto bass not too far out. Probably small pieces of squid would work. A few yellow striped snapper farther out on the rocky point.

If you have any way in finding a kayak use it. Troll small diving plugs AKA crank baits, right next to the rock wall face. I have caught many snapper and bass by doing his. Good luck

I used to fish down in front of Charlies Rock with the local kids. Used squid for bait. Bought it at Santa Rosa.

The Bahia bahia? Friends bought squid there at the camp. Birds have been posted up evenings off the first point down from Charly's. It's a chest deep Wade out to the last rock ledge, but that is where the fish are.
