It was looking like a slow one until we started getting blind strikes in an mile area. They just kept coming until a large school found the boat. Mostly males, 8-13#. Some debris in close with a lot of smaller dorado.

A bunch of baby females. Find the kamikaze males farther out. Sin Cuidado probably hasn't even dropped a line since that day. I'm not sure if many of the boats here even offer fishin trips anymore. They fish for tail at Martini Cove.
Sorry, got autocorrected for MUCHO dorado.
Are the big ones on their way?
I haven't caught a large sailfish yet.

How HAS the billfishing been since the tournaments? Seemed like decent action in the SCYC tournament, based on the numbers. Are they still around? Is there much bait in the water?

We found some bait on haystack the other day. No fish on it. Today we saw a few jumpers, billfishing has been pretty slow. caught 3 average size dorado today, and a ton of skipjakc
