Every Saturday until it gets too hot, we will have organic fruits and vegetables to sell at the Rescate Farmer's Market. Located by Shots and Altered Tails Bookstore, hours 9-noon. Thanks for supporting Rescate and your community.

What happened to the tamales and tortillas? Those were the best things there.

The Mexican lady who used to come sell her homemade wares is no longer coming. We call her every week and she always says she'll be there, but I think the diminished traffic on the malecon keeps her away. Well, damn, it's summer.

Sorry in my opinion the farmers market is not worth going to. Give it back to Shots or someone who can get it done like last year. Don't think we'll be going back.

I bought the Paradise pie last week, and it was delicious, but can't survive on that alone. I love the tamales, and the hummus that used to be sold there.

I'll pass that compliment onto CeCe Carter, the lady who makes the pies. So sorry the tamale lady isn't coming--we've tried to get her to return. The hummus lady, I understand, is now selling at Santa Rosa. Thanks for your response.
