I have heard it said that adversity and loss make a man wise. Well, after over two hours of hard jigging on Tuesday morning, a shark took my only yellowtail from me in a rush of pure power. I am hoping the wisdom shows up soon. By the way, the metal jig in the shark's mouth is almost a foot long.

About a year ago returning from the island with Fernando we drove by, within 6 feet, of an 8 or 10 ft hammerhead. We did not feed it.
