Within a mile or two of shore, around SC, has dropped into the mid 68-69 range.

Offshore, there is 73 degree water.

An upwelling has occurred in places in the Gulf, off of SC.

The water is clear. 79 outside. We pulled up a 32 and 20# dorado, in-between seeing 1000 sailfish and countless releases. I think the marlin are having a party up the coast. Lures don't cut it, you need ballyhoo or size 32 (1/2") sardines. The numbers of fish are beyond your wildest dreams!

I have never seen so many jumping sails in one area, as I saw at about 12 miles on a 180-185. All in about a one mile radius.

They all seemed like some juvenile size, like maybe teenagers. Seemed like lots of them were 50# and under.

Concur on the water temp. The warmest we saw was 78.8.
