Interesting post Brian.

I understood him to say he wanted to try from shore and that is possible. 

The larger cabrilla and yellowtail all are very close to the rocks for popper season, so that is something he could try.

Corbina and toros up to 25 lbs roam the beach in front of Charlies Rock during the hotter rainy seasons, and the Corbina get 2x larger than that around the entrances to both marinas.
