No sentri lane as of 2 weeks ago.  Because of the physical arrangement of the roads leading into the inspection area, it probably wouldn't be any help.  Everyone has to funnel in through the border fence gate that is only 2 lanes wide.  What would help is if they opened all the inspection gates.  I have never seen more than 6 of the total of 11 gates open at one time.  Also, the time spent at the actual inspection varies considerably from one day to the next.  Some days, they check my passport and that's it.  Other times, they ask lots of questions and then open the back end look through the luggage.  That can be a difference between 1 minute or less or up to 8-10 mins. and the number of backed cars doesn't seem to have any bearing on the process.
