What a Wonderful Boat with great fuel economy and the security of simple twin 4 cylinder engines and the Bulletproof Volvo 280B Counter- Rotating Drives. So smooth and Stable and handles the rough water with ease. Serviced Religiously. Has: LOWRANCE 111C HD Bigscreen Sounder/GPS/Depthfinder.        2 Livebait bags and pumps.        Outriggers and Downriggers        21 MPH@ 3200/34 MPH@5500 Redline.        Have always run Synthetic Lubricants!        Major Service 12 Hours Ago. Stainless 6 pole Rocket Launcher/Equipment Tower. Trailrite 2 Axle Trailer with Spare. Windlass, salt water washdown, fishwell with pump, 2 Icom VHF radios with antennas that sit 25 feet off the water,  2 bilge pumps with auto switches, deck/ spreader lights, led interior lights, self contained toilet.

I have never seen a 24 Skip with twin engines. But I can only recall seeing the fly bridge models. Did they build them that way from the factory?


I assume they are gas engines with those bronze manifolds? Raw water cooled?

Yes, factory twin Volvo 2.3L OHC gasoline fresh water cooled engines from Skipjack. Super stable and efficient with the counter rotating propellers.
