Just wondered what current dive conditions are locally and at the island as far as temperatures and visability? Thanks!

Surface 84 F for snorkling. Lalos Cove 82 at 30 ft and the Island 78 at 100 ft.  Visibility 20-30 ft local and up to 100 ft at the Island. Yesterday jelly's at window rock but absolutely none in Lalos Cove. Great !

We are coming down Thursday for 8-9 days. Can we have an update on water temps and visability? We heard the water had been rough as a result of the storms. Thanks!

Several trips to the Island between July 22 and 31in both my personal boat and El Mar's Boat, . First El Mar continues to provide the best boat diving and experience I have found in San Carlos year after year. Even though I have my own 24' boat Open bow so not so great to go to the Island, I prefer the treatment and safety of going out with El Mar on the fast 36' Piesquita. Island diving was spectacular with 100 plus viz although North Point was under 80 degrees at depth. Local dive sites, Deer Island, San Antonio Point and Window Rock, all had 83 plus degree water but the Viz was no more than 25 feet. No matter what San Carlos diving is always worth it.
