Hammerheads is available to host the event. PM me if you have any good graphics, slogans, or ideas. Cost should be back to $40, with all excess proceeds going back to the Sunday big fish. Still formulating, but there might be a Saturday big fish derby with three places that doesn't require the $40 registration to participate - for those one day fishermen.

I am thinking that Saturday will be 'partly' the 'Derby'. The big fish Saturday jackpot will be 1,000 pesos for a boat entry, $50 for those entered in the tournament. You don't have to enter the tournament to do the Derby. So, not $20 for everyone on the boat. Hopefully some of the Saturday party boats and one day warriors will participate, and around $800-1200 will be split among the three top fish. I was thinking that fish tacos and shirts would be available Saturday, with the typical music and party at Hammerheads, and money distributed that afternoon. Cumulative fish are still the same Saturday, and will continue Sunday, along with the Sunday big fish. Probably fish burgers Sunday for angler entrants, and the same Hammerheads party and menu through the afternoon until 7:00-8:00 when meals are done, commencing with awards. I think that Vive Real Estate will help with registration and registration forms. Vive and Coldwell Banker can assist anyone with rentals. Hope to see you at the 5:00 Friday registration at Hammerheads. Anyone coming in late can PM me to register.

O.k. Decision made out of respect to Bill and Susan, others, and other concerns. No discussion needed.

The reigning champs are still missing, so we all have a chance. Adam's new boat is too large and he will be too busy cleaning and organizing to catch fish.

In agreement, WHAT THE ???  Troy is kind enough to step up and sponsor the tournament, without going into all the other WHO'S & WHERE'S that were supposed to handle the tournament.  Someone(??) has decided to move the weigh-in to Tortuga's.  Doesn't make sense, the two or three hours each afternoon that the participants and observers stand around drinking and snacking, waiting on the fish arrivals and you're proposing to move the weigh-in to be supported by a different establishment.  UNBELIEVABLE!!!
The weigh in should be on the patio by HAMMERHEADS, the SPONSOR!!  Troy always comes through for the community and certainly shouldn't be shorted the weigh-in.

Troy doesn't want fish weighed on his patio with the band playing. The Marina now wants $300 to use the fillet station for tournament s. I have a soft bag and will try to have another cooler if someone needs to borrow one.

I have to work and can’t make it down. If I were there I’d prefer to weigh fish at the marina. Just pay the $300? Good luck everyone!
