It still has not begun the predicted, and unusual, redirect from almost due W to the NE. But all models seem to be in agreement, that it will.

While it is still a hurricane right now, it is expected to be a TS fully 2.5 days before it gets near San Carlos. And it must cross the mountains of Baja. It could easily be a remnant low by the time it reaches San Carlos.

But it bears watching.

Windy has some 50 knot winds predicted, which is higher than the storms the last two years, and a more direct direction.

It has begun turning northward and is expected to begin turning more NE in the next 12-24 hours.
