Boat names are not listed on TIPs. Brands and owner names are. If that is what you are asking you cancel the old one and get a new one at Bancerecito in Guaymas.

Thank you.  My boat name is on my TIP.  Do you know if you can cancel a TIP without taking the boat back across the border?  Thanks, Kerry

you can not, because then your boat would be illegal in Mexico.

My boat name is on my TIP. It's the English version of what I named my boat. After I brought it down, I decided to have the name painted in Spanish. Not going to bother to change the TIP.

EZ money yes you can get a new one after closing the old one, but you can not only cancel and not re-open that would leave your boat w/o a valid permit in MX, that's what I meant to say.

That's, weird, mine doesn't, and doesn't show a place on the doc where to put it. Bullshipper is the name of the hull.
