Hey all, some of you may remember me, others not so much. Life happens and I haven't been about for a while. Steve you still owe me $100 for the dolphin bet, just saying. I am reaching out because I know that although we often don't agree on Politics (you know who you are) we do agree on humanity.
Justice has Muscular dis-trophy and his body is bound to a wheelchair. I clarify that because this kid's soul has seen the world, and kicked its ass three times. God knows he has won me over ten fold. Justice is on his make a wish trip in Hawaii as I type this. That is hard. I don't think I ever really thought about what a make a wish trip is until my friend went on his. Let that sink in. He has seen rain Forrest, amazing beaches, waterfalls, and beautiful sunsets. What he hasn't done is go deep sea fishing. None of the boats have the capability, or are willing to, board a Handicapped teenager. He is already super excited about the Delfinario.
I will pay. I just want to get this kid out on the water. I am thinking late may early June when things start to warm up. We may have to be creative, hell lets duct tape him to a chair.
I am open to any and all suggestions.

Some of the larger charter boats may take him out. I don't know. It might be difficult if he is sliding around everywhere. But I do know people that have gone offshore fishing bound to a wheelchair. Good luck I know there is someone that will take him out!

Sea Dancer is a 21" Cat, with reasonable rear deck space and access from the dock.  We would be happy to accommodate you and your friend.  Check out our web site at seadancersportfishing.com.  My telephone number is listed there.

Any of the charters, including myself, can get him out most days. There are always enough hands around to get him on. Plan during the week early June and most of us would be flexible enough to move you to a flat weekday. Shade would be a factor for a full day. Sometimes the afternoons are calmer. Winter and Spring can be great times for half days, even June. You never really know even a week in advance where and when good close short bites can happen. Even what looks like an epic bite, could have been a 'should have been here yesterday'. You can always stay flexible by just finding hotel rooms with no reservation (your work permitting). Delfin 1st floor condos are pretty handicap friendly, or the Marina Terra. Plenty of activities to do here for handicapped - kayaking, off-roading). Half my clients and town are nearly confined to a chair. Change your thinking (although my 3yr old is getting heavy). You'll have locals everywhere helping you out. The town is much more handicap friendly in the last few years.
