Great reports Amigos. You guys are killing me..(300lb Marlin:shock:). :D I was wondering what types of gear(mostly lures) was used in the area to catch the marlin and other game fish in the San Carlos area. I have many Butterfly and other types of Iron jigs, many different Tuna Feathers or Clones and many Cedar type plugs. I also have a good selection of Repala Xraps and a couple of Marlin trolling type(Santos) lures as there has been a few smaller striped Marlin show up off the Oregon coast. Do you fish live bait?

I've found that the ones that swim in the water work best.
