It's been a pretty dismal summer. We just released our second marlin of the year. That often was a daily thing. That one came up four miles out, same as a few small dorado the other day. Hearing dorado get caught around. We hit a good bite, as well as two other reports at 30, for 8-14# fish. Had a huge shark chomp us off today. Pretty minimal sea life. Pangas raiding the last of the I mature bottomfish. No good sargasso, but it has been cold on the other side and we could still see some patches. Small inshore baitfish is stacking up, so the Bay could take off. Lots of small tuna off the East Cape. A few sails around. Still beats being on land.
Tight Lines,
Bryan
