Saw this at the marina office. I didn't see who made it. Head to middle of tail 32". I am guessing that is about a 6.5# fish.

Are you saying that that is a new Mexican reg from PESCA?


I thought I read that a female dorado reaches sexual maturity (the age at which most minimum size limits are set in countries that actually OBSERVE fishing regulations) at around 22 inches.

I was in Baja two weeks ago and observed a man cleaning a peanut female dorado. She was no more than 20 inches long and full of eggs! Please release the females Dorados ........all sizes.

I used my spanish to google this but found nothing in Mexico announcing any changes concerning sizes in Mexico.

They did make a new regulation in Peru to make 70 cms or 27.5" the minimum there, and Paraguay and Uraguay both state 60 cms as their minimum.

I don't now we're too start for Shure making more fishing lows it's not going too do nating to help but crieit a more aggressive black market, Steve it will by interested to see how many tons came out of the sea of Cortez bicuse the amount of fish around the 2000 were affect by fishing around the long lines sheme on all of as we oll did it,butt this was no secret for nobody wen you gave a corrupt society end authorities poberty oll natural resources well deploid
