Here are the coordinates, as ascertained by the skipper of the vessel Encantada. Encantada assisted another boat who ran aground on it.

It is north of Bandito Point and south of Ensenada Grande/Bahia San Pedro. You man want to put this in your GPS as an obstruction.

N 27 59.958

W 111 10.936

"Ran aground on it" - sounds kinda large - thanks the info !

Any clues as to what it may be or is it something like terrain broken from earthquakes last few days ?

Putting into nav maps now - thanks .

:(

It has been there for some time; nothing recently created.

I have dinged a prop on it, know an outboard guy with a panga (who probably draws about a foot) who had to have his leg rebuilt and Pajarito (Alberto) knows about it.

I have discovered that many old-timers know about it, since I nicked it. Still, it bears sharing the coordinates.

What is it? Those coordinates are 1/4 offshore if my mapping is correct?

One or more pinnacles, I guess.

I plotted it on GE and it does appear to be a 1/4 mile off, but it looks much closer than that, when you are there.
