Is there any place in san carlos that does front end alignment or suspension work? If not, any recommendations for a english-speaking mechanic? I had an altercation with a gate post and one of my front tires is now pointing the wrong way...

I would go by the tire and alignment place across from the HOtel Armida in Guaymas. They have the most advanced alignment shop in the area. And if you need more than an alignment, they will recommend you go to the tire and repair shop across the street from the Coca Cola distribudor. That's on the upper road to Empalme, after the Serdan split. The owner of this place does speak good English; not so at the place across from the Armida. I've been to both places and they are honest and excellent. There is no decent place in San Carlos that I am aware of. Basically just shadetree mechanics over here.
