This forum used to be called Ribbon Cutting and was in the Mercado section. It has been moved here and renamed to accomodate an expanded role. The intent is to allow the business community, non-profit organizations, government and non-government organizations a place to announce events, fund raisers, entertainment and so forth. What's appropriate to post: Public Events: Festivals, Tournaments, Fund Raisers, Rummage Sales, Meetings, etc. Entertainment: Entertainer appearance schedules, restaurant & bar special promotions and events, food & beverage specials, etc. Business News: Grand Openings, Relocations, etc. What's not appropriate to post: Items for Sale (These belong in the appropriate Mercado forum) Real Estate Open Houses (These belong in the Real Estate Mercado forum) There is no charge for posting here. We reserve the right to edit, move or delete posts at our sole discretion. We also reserve the right to modify these guidelines as necessary. If you have a question on whether your event is appropriate or not, please ask via email or PM first. Also consider posting your critical info in our forum calendar-click the calendar button at upper right to open the calendar. Please include all necessary information in your post. Answer the basic questions including what, where, when, who, how much, etc. Provide contact information for those who might need more information or if reservations are required.
