|Hootie Hoo – The Rescate Marketplace, March 30, 2019
Grab your shopping bag, grab your hat, put on your dancin’ shoes and bring that smile. We welcome you to the Rescate Marketplace Saturday the 30th to enjoy all the many vendors and, again, the smooth sounds of a sax. Actually, two will be entertaining this weekend. Alberto Torres and his friend will be entertaining as you visit to buy that last-minute gift or indulge in one or more of the many food items.
We will have Frank, “the oyster guy”, visiting again with fresh oysters, fish and shrimp (maybe even some peel and eat shrimp), Dragon Fruit with those wonderful Organic veggies, quesadillas, fresh-made cheeses, breads, key-lime pies, peach cobbler, potato salad, pecan pies – yummy – just activated dancin’ taste buds. Don’t forget fine jewelry and fine art as well as gift ideas from local citizens. Baskets, pottery, blankets, purses, pure vanilla, ironwood, clothing – you will find that perfect gift.
AND, of course, our great raffle donated by COLIBRI RESTAURANT, dinner for two with appetizer, two drinks and dessert for two. Rescate thanks you COLIBRI RESTAURANT. Raffle tickets are only 10 pesos each. All proceeds from this raffle go to the daily operation of Rescate de San Carlos.
Agape Church will be visiting seeking donations for their food bank to help those in need. Thank you Agape. If you are heading North, please bring any non-perishable food items and drop in their donation box.
Of course, our Angel, Bliss, will be with us bringing pets in need of a loving home. Open up your loving home to one of these animals in need. She also gives you a dog collar for a donation to help her with vet bills and the daily expense of maintaining these homeless animals.
The Rescate Thrift Store will have close-out clothing 2 for 10 pesos. Some really great clothing, very cheap!
Please come, laugh, sing, dance or just shop up a storm. You’ll be glad you did!
