Hootie-Hoo – The Rescate Marketplace, Saturday, March 16
Our vendors will be open for business at the Rescate Marketplace this Saturday, March 16. We have boot-scootin' or slow dancin' with Alberto Torres and his infamous Sax.  He keeps us croonin' as we stroll The Rescate Marketplace and visit the many great vendors. We have laughter and camaraderie because our line-up is as great as ever.  AND our raffle this weekend is Cooking Lessons by Agustin from PICCOLO RESTAURANT.  Agustin is offering 4 hours of cooking in your house for 3 people.  Approximately a 2,000 pesos value.  Wow - and his lessons are great as I actually had lessons from Agustin a few years back. All proceeds from the Raffle benefit Rescate. NEW vendor, Frank will be bringing fresh Oysters and fillet of fresh fish.  Yummmm, been looking for seafood vendor for quite some time.  Frank is from Chicago and originally a web designer but he found San Carlos and as so many of us, made his move to this magical town by the sea.  He started his own oyster farm about 5 years back and is bringing a harvest of Oysters to The Rescate Marketplace along with fresh fish.  Exciting, right??? Along with Frank, we will have soups and breads, key-lime pies, Organic Veggies by Dragon Fruit Farm, Mexican wares (blankets, pottery, baskets, beaded hummingbirds and many gift ideas) fine jewelry, fresh-squeezed orange juice, quesadillas, fresh cheese, tamales, chili rellenos, plants, carmelized nuts, Thrift Store close-outs; whew as we said, quite a line-up. Bliss will be there with pet(s) for adoption, as well as items for sale to help her fund vets and food for these pets looking for a loving home (could very well be your home)!  Please join us Saturday, the 16th and enjoy The Rescate Marketplace.  When you support our vendors, they in turn support Rescate.
