We get underway next week for another season of fun, laughs, groans and moans. We play on Tuesdays and Fridays, warmup at 9:30 then the game action from 10-12.  The cost for the season is $300 pesos for players or $200 pesos for non players. This gets one into the parties that we host, such as the La Manga party( free beer and wine), two beach parties( free hot dogs) and of course the annual bash with free food, free beer, free wine, live music and more. The season consists of between 40-50 games, after each game we head out to one of the local restaurants for a bite to eat, usually followed by a well deserved siesta. For more info you can call me Freddie at 226- 0699.

Greetings.  My husband and I are coming to San Carlos for the upcoming winter season.  We both okay slow pitch and are interested in the league.  We would bring down our gear if it is going to run this year.  Is the league for both genders?  Cheers.

I am not sure how many league members are on this board. Sadly, the gentleman who posted this in 2016, passed on, only last week.

I am certain that the league will continue. It was going before Monty (Fred Montgomery) joined it, and it continues to be quite popular because of his leadership. In point of fact, he shepherded the league through it's biggest challenge; the loss of the field out at Paradiso.

I was once deeply involved with the league and I can tell you that, yes, the league is co-ed. Both genders. You should probably bring your gloves, but everything else is provided; balls, bats, bases, etc.

Usually, "spring training" starts in late October or early November; usually dependent on how many players have come down from up north. Come and join the fun!

The field is at 27.979272, -111.025503 on Google Maps/Earth.

With a name like Pine2Palm, are you, by chance, along or near CA-74, above Palm Desert?

We will definitely bring our gloves.  Hopefully get some ball in.  Sorry to hear about the loss of a member of the group.  Always a tough one.
We are actually from Canada.  Hence the Pine2Palm  ---  Pine trees to palm trees.  We have decided to try to avoid the snow!
We are looking forward to spending our winter in San Carlos.  I will check back on the forum to see if there are updates for the upcoming season.
Cheers.
