** SOLD **

Hola to All,

I have upgraded my network backup device, so have a used one for sale:

Mfgr: Netgear
Model: RND2000-200NAS
Type: Netgear ReadyNas Duo V2, Diskless

I had two each 3TB drives in it, setup as Raid 1, which means you have extremely reliable and redundant backups. You can of course use a single drive, but you lose the benefit of having Raid redundancy.

It works with ANY operating system because it connects to your home network like any networked device. You can log into it using any browser and change the setup. You can get utilities for Windows, Mac, and Linux for desktop access and control as well. And it has USB3.0 ports for attaching additional storage.

Functionally and performance wise, this unit operates as good as new. It has a solid metal build frame; no flimsy plastic. Put a couple of matching hard drives in it and you will have a great network backup system.

There are two easy to remove disk trays which slide out when you open the front panel. You can "hot-swap" a hard drive if one does fail, tho in a small network home environment I would prefer to just shut it down and replace the drive...tho I have never had a drive fail in it. And has USB3.0 ports for attaching additional storage.

Here is a page with more detailed pics of the inside and outside of the unit:

Online manuals are available on various sites, including Netgear's support sections.

Comes with power adapter/cord, of course.

First MX$900 (about USD$43.00) takes it home for Christmas.

I will be in San Carlos Friday the 9th, so could arrange drop off or meet somewhere.

Email slickums76@yahoo.com for more info.

Roy

I guess I didn't make the ** SOLD ** edit big enough, eh? :)

Yes, it was sold. Thanks for the inquiry.
