The manager of the store says all 15 of their employees have been working before and since this rumor started...none have been out sick.

Lay’s response is... this rumor of infected Ley employees was started by competitors who want more of Ley’s customers frequenting their stores.

I have no idea if any of the Ley employees have been infected or not, I’m not invested either way.
But he makes a good point if none of them have been out sick with COVID-19 symptoms.

""Presumen existan casos de coronavirus""

the headline states; EXISTING coronavirus  cases "ARE" presumed

""Llamaron a directivos de esta empresa a que revise la situación o que llamen a la Secretaría de Salud para que revisen a los trabajadores""

this last sentence in the article roughly states;
they called the directors of the business to review the situation or CALL THE SECRETARY OF HEALTH SO THEY CAN REVIEW THE WORKERS

many posters have expressed their skepticism in the earliest posts!

WE WOULD BE CURRENTLY BE IN A  BETTER POSITION OF KNOWING THE TRUTH IF THIS THREAD HAD NOT BEEN "HIJACKED", which caused distraction and more confusion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THOSE POSTS WHERE DELETED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SEE POST #12

I saw it 2 days prior to the Doc's post, but thought it was gossip, and held my tongue.

But there is no doubt in my mind that several people have the virus in SC if there have been over 250 cases in Guaymas, that the detection level is probably less than 1 in 10, and 1/2 of the folks that work here are riding crowded buses and hour every day to commute,

There were very few people in Arbolitas having lunch when I passed, so I think most that can are taking precautions.

i think this is a serious logical assessment of the pandemics reach!
this is NOT hyperbolic paranoid banter, as a few deniers would have you believe!

if we hear something that can affect our communities well being, post it, preferably with a valid reference!

STAY SAFE, STAY HEALTHY!!!!!!!!!!

I just saw a video clip by the Health Minister of Sonora and he said that all the Hospitals in Guaymas are full and is recomending the town shut down for 15 days.  Pretty serious if you ask me

Yes he is asking the police and authorities in Guaymas and Nogales to limit all vehicular traffic in both cities for 15 days, and for everyone to stay home.
